What is LEAD?
The LEAD Program is a web-based suicide prevention and mental health promotion program. LEAD assists adolescents in developing adaptive social support networks and learning skills for modifying negative thoughts and emotions. LEAD is a two-session program complete with pre, post, and follow-up assessments.
There is no cost for use of the LEAD Program.
The LEAD Training
Training in use of the LEAD Program is available to providers of mental health or supportive services for adolescents. Access to the training module is free. LEAD training occurs via an online system and requires about 60 minutes. Please note, the training must be completed in a single session (e.g., without closing your web browser).
